I made two batches today of formula no.19
- Coconut oil
- Olive old
- Lard
- Castor Oil
In batch 43, I used leftover homebrewed beer to replace the water, and batch 44 I used water but tried to make a New York Rangers inspired swirl bar
The beer soap was pretty normal. It comes to trace fast, which is normal for beer soap. I dont boil it first to get the alcoholout of it so it gets really hot real fast and almoat completly gels
I am practicing getting to thin trace. The only issue I saw was some kind of liquid drops on the top. I’m not sure what that is. It could be glycerin or something else. We’ll see tomorrow when it’s ready to cut
44 was a swirly job. I did something wrong with the titanium dioxide and it left a rusty looking trail it something. I have tonlook into that. I’ve seen a video about it, I just forgot what it was i did or didnt do
